Rainbow Bar & Grill: A Rock 'n Roll Icon on Sunset Strip

I stopped by Rainbow Bar where I treated myself to a Jack and Coke and sat in the legendary seat of Lemmy Kilmister, located in the “Lemmy’s Lounge” outdoor area. The food is absolutely amazing; I had a bacon cheeseburger, and as simple as it was, it was a big and delicious burger. I love the whole set up with music history and featuring a legend. Great music playing in the background, great atmosphere and prompt service.

Went there for happy hour by accident with a friend. It was not busy and super relaxed, the food was absolutely delicious and we had a great chat with the staff about the rainbow and slowly the whisky a go go. Since we were there early during the afternoon, we got 20 percent off of the food which eas amazing. The bar is very interesting and there's so much to look at, rock history at its finest. A must see for music fans!

I ordered food and drinks and everything came out solid. Nothing overworked or pretentious, just classic bar food done right. Portions were generous, flavors were on point, and the drinks were poured properly. Service was relaxed but attentive, which fit the atmosphere perfectly. This is not a polished, touristy spot and that’s exactly the point. It feels authentic and lived in. If you want a real Hollywood experience with history, attitude, and a great bar scene, this place delivers. Highly recommend if you’re on the Strip and want something iconic instead of generic.

The place wreaks of history and nostalgia, a mecca if you're a rocker. Great service and great food too. We were even lucky enough to visit the Vampire lair!! Rock n Roll!!!

Bucket list stop.. food was incredible, bartender was awesome, bought merch, met a celebrity that was just hanging out.. sat in lemmys chair. Unbelievable experience

If you like bad ass rock n roll bars. This is the place to go to, especially if you love Motörhead. Food is pretty damn good too even though my picture of the burger doesn't do it justice. Its definitely something I would go back for

What a place!! Deserves six stars! We were visiting Hollywood and found the Rainbow. Being huge rock fans, this was right up our street!! All the old skool bands were known to hang out here. What got me is GnR filmed a scene for November Rain at a booth in the Rainbow and seeing it wow, nostalgia set in. Food was great, had a pizza, delicious. Good choice of drinks. Waitresses efficient and friendly. After the 1st time there, we ended up going there every night for the rest of our vacation. My fave bar ever! Totally recommend!

I am a metal head so obviously had to visit. Alot of rock memorabilia and history. The food was really bad, no flavour, not well cooked at all. I have eaten better at roadside places than this. Service was great, the waitresses are friendly talkative and beautiful. The place is tired which probably adds to the charm. If the food improved I would visit again.
